Date of Birth:
Dec 27, 1991Birth Place:
Munich, GermanyBiography
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is the son of actor/musician Uwe Ochsenknecht -- who had a small role in the celebrated World War II miniseries "Das Boot" and was the co-lead in the satire "Schtonk!" -- and is the brother of fellow actor Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht. Uwe and Jimi Blue frequently appear together in movies. Jimi Blue made his screen debut in Doris Dörrie's angsty satire "Enlightenment Guaranteed" (1999), starring Uwe and Gustav-Peter Wöhler as brothers who journey to Japan for some spiritual healing. Jimi Blue had a small role -- as did Wilson Gonzalez, who also featured in the film -- but bigger parts would follow. For the raucous family comedy "The Wild Soccer Bunch," Jimi Blue was pushed to the front of the pack, playing the leader of a gang of kids who want nothing more than glory on the field playing their favorite sport during their summer holiday. The film, which also starred Jimi Blue's father and brother, was a box office success and went on to spawn four
