Walter Henry "Walt" Dohrn is an American writer, director, animator, musician and voice actor.

Walter Dohrn was born on December 5, 1970 in Orange County, California, United States.

Before Trolls, he was already involved in other DreamWorks Animation movies, including Shrek the Third and Shrek Forever After. For the latter movie, he served as a head writer, voiced Rumpelstiltskin, and directed a related short titled Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular.

Dohrn was also involved in the production of the second and third seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants and the third and fourth seasons of Dexter's Laboratory. He is the father of voice actress Iris and Phoebe Dohrn.
