American hip hop group
Migos () were[2][3][4] an American hip hop group founded in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2008.[5] The group was composed of rapper Quavo, his nephew Takeoff, and their "cousin" friend Offset. Quavo is from Athens, Georgia, while Offset and Takeoff were born and raised in nearby Lawrenceville. As a group, they were managed by Coach K, the former manager of Gucci Mane and Jeezy,[6] and frequently collaborated with producers DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, Zaytoven, and Buddah Bless.[7][8] Recognized for their contribution to trap music in the 2010s, Billboard stated that the group "influenced pop culture and the entire English language by bringing their North Atlanta roots to the mainstream".[9]

Migos were an American hip hop group. Its original members were rappers Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff. The group was founded in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2008.[2] Their name is short for "amigos", which means friends in Spanish.[3]
The group was managed by Coach K, the former manager of Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy.
Migos released their first album Yung Rich Nation in July 2015 on the labels Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment. In 2016, the group appeared in Donald Glover's comedy drama television series (drama) Atlanta. Their second album, Culture, was released in January 2017. (released) It topped the Billboard 200. Atlanta-based trio Migos (Quavious "Quavo" Marshall, Kirshnik "Takeoff" Ball and Kiari "Offset" Cephus) established themselves with the singles Versace, off the mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas) (2013), and Fight Night (2014) from the mixtape No Label 2 (2014). The mixtape Rich Nigga Timeline (2014) contained the single One Time (2015). Their early works were mostly produced by Oakland-based producer Xavier "Zaytoven" Dotson. Their debut album Yung Rich Nation (2015), mostly produced by Toronto-based Murda Beatz (real name Shane Lindstrom) and Atlanta-based Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E. (aka Carlton Mays), was followed by the mixtape Back to the Bando (2015), mostly produced by Zaytoven again.
