Katherine Moennig

Katherine Moennig was born on December 29, 1977 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is an actress and producer known for "Gone" (2012), "The Lincoln Lawyer" (2011) and "Everybody's Fine" (2009). She is also known for her television roles as Shane McCutcheon on "The L Word" (2004–09), as Jake Pratt on "Young Americans" (2000), and her long-recurring role as Lena in the Showtime series "Ray Donovan" since 2013.

Moennig moved to New York City at the age of 18 to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1999, she had the central role in the Our Lady Peace video "Is Anybody Home?". She also took a role in a Fleet Bank commercial, and appeared in a Red Cross Campaign benefiting victims of Hurricane Katrina. Moennig was a presenter at the 17th annual GLAAD awards and appeared at the 10th annual Ribbon of Hope Celebration.

Antje Nikola Mönning (born 2 February 1977)[1] is a German actress.

Career

Born in Lüdinghausen,[2] Mönning studied acting from 1999 until 2002 at the Schauspiel München actors' studio. Her first television-role was in the 2003 crime-series Die Wache on RTL. This was followed by a string of other supporting- and leading-roles on German television, most-notably in 2008 and 2009 as a nun in the ARD-series Um Himmels Willen. Apart from her television- and film-work, she also appeared on several German and other European stages and toured the US with a musical.[3] After appearing throughout her career in several short films, she co-produced and played a lead-role in the 2009 film Engel mit schmutzigen Flügeln [de] (lit.: Angel with dirty Wings), directed by Roland Reber. In 2009, Mönning was a jury-member at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain.

WILLIAM A MOENNING.  Since 1855, this gentleman has been identified with the welfare of Sheboygan County, as is well and favorably known in the neighborhood of his home, which is located on section 10, Wilson Township.  He is a native of Prussia, Germany, born June 20, 1845, and is the fifth in order of birth in a family of seven children, whose parents were Fred and Caroline (Hirsh) Moenning.  Three of the number are now living.

    Our subject was a lad of ten years when he came with his parents to America.  They took passage in a sailing-vessel at Bremen bound for New York.  After forty-nine days spent upon the ocean, they landed on the shores of the New World, and continued their westward journey be way of the railroad and Great Lakes to Sheboygan County.  Here the father purchased about sixty acres of partially improved land in Wilson Township, near Six Co
