Daughter of Gary and Paula Gregg-Rowbury...Married to Pablo Solares, who competes for his native country, Mexico...Fifth-generation San Francisco native...Wears lipstick during races in homage of her grandmother, Nonie, who believed in dressing up for special events...Does altitude training in Mexico and speaks Spanish...Aspires to pursue a career in the entertainment industry when she has retired from running...Her and her husband, Pablo, founded a nonprofit in 2012 with the goal of promoting arts and athletics among young women and raising cross-cultural awareness between the U.S. and Mexico...Their current project, Borderless Art Scholarship, uses art as a way to express the athlete experience and awards a $1,500 scholarship to an athlete from the U.S. and Mexico.
